Igniting Aspirations and Moulding Destinies!!
Travelling from the primary to middle school level, we see that learners are growing more and more curious to experiment and explore new areas of interest. To suit this purpose, we have devised our philosophy, which is based on the motto ‘Igniting aspirations and moulding destinies’. In fact, we have redefined the way education is imparted within the school through the Millennium Learning System-Level Two (MLS II).
MLS II concept books have been designed keeping in mind that our basic premise is to provide the learners with “not only learning for later but also learning from now”. Since learners at this age look for role models, each chapter in the concept book is narrated by a protagonist, well-known in a particular field. The protagonist emphasises the importance of how the content being studied will help the learners in their present-day routines as well as in their future vocations. Progressing from Class 6 to Class 8, the content has been woven with the thread of strategy that imparts to the learners the much required 21st century skills. In Class 7, stress is laid on various vocations that help children to get acquainted with renowned professionals in the particular field. And in Class 8, skills required for the vocation acquire utmost significance, thus leading to the vocation through the content. This means teaching the art of learning by doing. In other words, all through, the learner is treated as an apprentice!
Believe it! If we know what we are doing, it will not be called research. We attend innumerable meetings to make simple problems complicated, where minutes are kept and hours forgotten! The room at times echoes with voices like Mittal mera hai!! Mujhe Ambani nahi Bhimani chahiye!! JJThe trouble with doing something right for the first time is that nobody appreciates how difficult it wasLL! This explains why the ‘re-do’ sessions have assumed such significance. Moreover, the best part of having a team is that there is always somebody to blame!! Keeping up to the spirit, the content writers and the graphic designers are at an all-time cold war. And, our Boss has a tough time!
Jokes apart, this and a wonderful team of dedicated professionals help us sail through the ever-turbulent sea of deadlines, finally touching shores laden with accolades. As we are still steering through the sea, this comes to our lips that there are miles to go before we sleep…
We have done so much, for so long, with so little that we are now qualified to do anything with nothing!
